Overview

A bilingual Vietnamese and English portfolio site built on the Next.js App Router, with blog content managed in Sanity CMS. It is the personal project where I experiment with technical SEO and performance work in detail: hreflang, structured data, grouped sitemaps, RSS and an llms.txt for language models.

Key contributions

• Built the whole site on the Next.js App Router with React Server Components and bilingual i18n via next-intl.
• Integrated Sanity CMS for the blog, covering portable text, optimized images and Mermaid diagrams.
• Implemented technical SEO: canonical URLs, hreflang, JSON-LD, a grouped sitemap index, RSS feed and llms.txt.
• Improved performance by dropping third-party iframe previews, cutting roughly 1.3 MB of transfer and nearly 1.8 s of CPU from the homepage.
