Overview
BrandCard is my own product, live at brandcard.io.vn. People sign in with Google or an email one-time code, go through a three-step onboarding and immediately get a personal profile at brandcard.io.vn/<slug> with contact details, Zalo, social links, a map and an FAQ. Every profile comes with a QR code to print on a CV, a portfolio, an event backdrop or a business card. I build everything myself, from product direction and design to the backend, frontend and operations.
Key contributions
- Defined the product, designed the interface and built the whole system from scratch on the Next.js 16 App Router.
- Implemented passwordless sign-in with Auth.js v5 using Google OAuth and email one-time codes sent through Resend.
- Modelled the data on Neon Postgres with TypeORM migrations, and signed image uploads server-side through Cloudinary.
- Built the three-step onboarding and the editor with React Hook Form and Zod, including a live preview, a flexible FAQ list and Zalo kept separate from the phone number.
- Built the public /<slug> profile pages with per-profile metadata, and QR codes generated with qr-code-styling with scan tracking.
- Built the analytics dashboard and admin area with cookieless measurement plus PostHog.
