Overview
Nocturne is a niche perfume brand website built for the Vietnamese market. I created the project end-to-end, from the brand concept, visual direction and user experience through to a complete production product built with the Next.js App Router. The site focuses on premium visual storytelling, purposeful motion, responsive behaviour and technical SEO, with collection and product pages, a guided scent finder, boutiques, customer stories and an email contact flow.
Key contributions
- Created the complete product from concept, visual direction and interface design through to production delivery.
- Built the Next.js App Router architecture around React Server Components and static rendering.
- Built the responsive design system and GSAP motion layer with lazy loading to keep the performance cost controlled.
- Developed collection and product detail pages, search, and a guided scent recommendation experience.
- Implemented technical SEO with metadata, canonicals, JSON-LD, sitemaps, robots directives and Open Graph imagery.
- Integrated the contact flow with Resend, React Email and server-side validation.
